This is what our dining area of our kitchen looked like before. Notice the white walls and dark brown paneling.
This is what it looks like now, with bright yellow and blue paint, and a crazy border.  In addition to the wallpaper border that extends in the dining area, Jerry hand-painted a blue and white checkerboard stencil on part of the walls in the kitchen area.
