Before this weekend, Katie had nine states to visit to complete her 50 states quest but we were able to knock off two of them with a quick trip – and lots of driving.

We landed in Albuquerque on Saturday morning, drove to Santa Fe for lunch and a quick stroll around the downtown area, and then headed east with our sights on the Oklahoma panhandle.
