Our long-awaited trip to Vancouver to see Alix, Aunt Judy, and Mike finally arrived, and the weekend did not disappoint.

On Saturday, they introduced us to White Rock, a cute seaside community that instantly won us over. The beach is the town’s star attraction: a long, sandy stretch with sweeping views of the Pacific. And the waterfront was so charming - we dined on Beaver Tail donuts and some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. It was exactly the kind of day you hope for by the sea and as an added bonus, we even got some sunshine for a couple of hours that day.
